Find a trip date that works best for you, and give us a call at 866-872-5666 to find out if space is available on the date(s) you are interested in. If there is space you can either reserve your spot with a credit card over the phone or send a check. A $300 per person deposit is required to reserve space on all Salmon River trips. The balance is due 60 days before your trip departs. Reservations made within the 60-day period before trip departure must include payment in full. However you choose to reserve space, we recommend doing it as early as possible in order to assure availability.

We are a family owned wilderness river Outfitter, which means that we have the ability to reduce the length of our trips to fit your Vacation Plans. All it takes is a phone call and we would be happy to see if we could put together a trip to fit your schedule.

MAIN SALMON RIVER 2010 Dates & Rates

New for 2010
This is the perfect trip for those who do not have the time do a five day trip and still would like to experience a rafting trip down the Main Salmon river. This three day stretch of the Main Salmon is considered by most to be the best section of this river. Rapids like Salmon Falls, Big Mallard and Elkhorn are just some of the well know rapids along this section. There is Barth Hot Springs on day two and several other pioneer historical sites that we will stop at along the way.

This trip starts just like all our trips, only on the afternoon of day three our chartered jet-boat meets us on the river. Once we are all aboard we take about a 2 hour trip back up river to Corn Creek where it all started. On these trips a minimum of 6 Guests are required and the Max is 8. Comfortable Wilderness Camping
All of our Main Salmon River Trips start in Salmon, Idaho our five day camping trips end in the mountain town of McCall, Idaho. We put in at Corn Creek and take out at Vinegar Creek from early June to mid September. On the afternoon of day 5 your trip ends approximately 80 miles downstream at Vinegar Creek, where we will meet our charter van for the 1.5 hr. drive to McCall. All ground transportation to and from river is included. Once in McCall you are taken to your hotel or the airport, depending on your post-trip schedule.

Lodge trips are ideal for the 55 and older and great for the guest who wants to experience the whitewater and beautiful Canyon but not the camping. Whitewater, White sheets and some home comforts what more could you ask for…

We meet in the town of Salmon Idaho and you will spend four nights at a different lodge every-night, the last night will be spent at either MacKay Bar or Shepp Ranch. On the morning of the fifth day you will fly out of the canyon back to your original destination Salmon, McCall or Boise Idaho. Once you have chosen a date, you have the option of adding on a travel package that best fits your travel needs, and we will be happy to make reservations for you. Boise to Boise
This package is great for guests who are flying to Idaho or starting their trip in Boise. You would fly from the Boise airport to Salmon on the afternoon prior to your launch date. Arrangements would be made for a shuttle van to pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel in Salmon. On the last day of the trip in the late afternoon, fly from McCall back to Boise.
Add: $360 per. person

Salmon to Salmon
For guests driving to the area from the east, Yellowstone area, Salt Lake City or Ketchum. Guests would provide their own transportation to Salmon on the afternoon prior to the launch date. On the afternoon of your last trip day, fly back to Salmon from McCall.
Add: $175 per. Person

McCall to McCall
For guests driving to the area from the west or starting their trip in McCall. Guests provide their own transportation to the airport in McCall and fly to Salmon on the afternoon prior to the launch date. At the end of the last trip day guests are returned to their vehicles at the McCall airport.

Salmon Air Charters

For guests driving their own vehicle to Salmon. Idaho on the afternoon prior to the launch date. Guests' vehicle(s) are transferred by a professional shuttle service from Salmon to McCall, Idaho on or before the last trip date. Guests are returned to their vehicle(s) at the end of their trip. Add-$325 plus fuel per vehicle Shuttle Service
